Overview

DCStonks is an in-game brokerage simulation for the DemocracyCraft Minecraft server. We collect only what we need to run the service and to keep your in-game account and trades working. We never sell your data.

What we collect

• Discord identity — your Discord ID and username, used to sign you in. We only request the “identify” scope.
• Linked DemocracyCraft account — the in-game account tied to your profile, so we can read your DC$ balance and settle trades.
• Activity in the app — your in-game trades, holdings, wallet movements, and similar records needed to operate your account.

We do not collect real-world financial information, payment details, or your Discord email or password.

How we use it

We use this information solely to run DCStonks: to sign you in, show your portfolio, place and settle in-game trades, prevent abuse, and keep the service working. We do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data or share it for marketing. We rely on a few service providers to run DCStonks, and data passes through them only to operate the service:

• Discord — sign-in.
• Supabase — secure storage of your account and activity.
• The DemocracyCraft Treasury and the in-game stock market — to read balances and settle trades.

Data retention

We keep your account and activity data while your account is active and for as long as needed to operate the service or meet DemocracyCraft’s requirements. You can ask us to remove your DCStonks data through the community channels below.

Your choices

You can stop using DCStonks at any time and request that your DCStonks account data be deleted. Some basic records may be retained where needed to prevent abuse or resolve in-game disputes.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above.
