1. What DCStonks is

DCStonks is a brokerage simulation for the DemocracyCraft Minecraft server. It lets you buy and sell shares on the in-game stock market using in-game DC dollars (DC$). It is a game feature — not a real financial product.

2. In-game money only

All balances, prices, and trades on DCStonks are denominated in DC$, a virtual currency that exists only inside DemocracyCraft. No real-world currency is ever deposited, withdrawn, traded, or involved in any way. DC$ has no cash value outside the game.

3. Eligibility & your account

To use DCStonks you must have a DemocracyCraft account and sign in with Discord. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. We may suspend or limit accounts that abuse the service, exploit bugs, or break DemocracyCraft server rules.

4. Trading & fees

When you buy or sell, your order is routed to the in-game stock market and DCStonks charges a small in-game fee on each completed trade. The fee is shown before you confirm. Prices move with the market, so the amount you pay or receive can change between viewing a price and confirming a trade.

5. No financial advice

DCStonks does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell. All trades carry in-game risk only — you can lose DC$, but never real money.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Exploit bugs, pricing errors, or unintended behavior for in-game gain.
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to trade or scrape the service.
• Attempt to manipulate the in-game market or disrupt the service for others.
• Access accounts or data that are not yours.

7. Beta & availability

DCStonks is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be reset, and the service may be unavailable at times. It is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that trades, prices, or balances will always be accurate or available.

8. Limitation of liability

Because DCStonks deals only in in-game DC$, any loss is limited to in-game value. To the fullest extent allowed by law, DCStonks and its operators are not liable for in-game losses, downtime, or data resets arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above. Continuing to use DCStonks after changes means you accept the updated terms.
